The photograph attached was taken by the crew on board the Columbia during its last mission, on a cloudless day. The picture is of Europe and Africa when the sun is setting. Half of the picture is in night. The bright dots you see are the cities’ lights. Subhanallah <3 !

hellow Ramadhan!

1. Ask Allah to enable you to reach Ramadan and to get the most out of it as the Salaf (early generation of pious people) used to do.

2. Intend to fast every day with Iman and pure intention seeking the reward from Allah alone. The Prophet peace be upon him said, “Whoever fasts in Ramadan with Iman and seeking reward (from Allah) his past sins will be forgiven”. (Bukhari)

3. Read the whole Qur’an at least once as the Prophet peace be upon him did.

4. Have Suhoor as the Prophet peace be upon him said, “Have Suhoor because it is blessed”.

5. Make Du’a during the fast because the Prophet peace be upon him said that three people’s supplication is not rejected one of them is the fasting person. Ask for the good of this life and the next for yourself, your family and Muslims in general.

6. Make Dua before opening the fast. The Prophet peace be upon him said, “The fasting person has a supplication that is answered when he opens his fast”.

7. Give Sadaqah and be good to people. The Prophet peace be upon him was the most generous of people and he was most generous in Ramadan.

8. Avoid anything that diminishes the fast such as, lying, backbiting, cheating, getting angry. The Prophet peace be upon him said “Whoever does not give up false statements (i.e. telling lies), and evil deeds, and speaking bad words to others, Allah is not in need of his (fasting) leaving his food and drink.” [Bukhari]

9. Do not eat too much after Iftar.

10. Ask for forgiveness since this is the month Allah frees people from the fire.

11. Pray At-Tarawih with Khushoo. If you pray in the Masjid complete the Salah with the Imam. If you pray at home prolong the Salah as long as you can. The Prophet peace be upon him said, “Whoever prays during Ramadan with Iman and seeking reward (from Allah) his past sins will be forgiven”.

12. Feed the poor and invite others for Iftar. The Prophet peace be upon him said, “Whoever gives Iftar to someone fasting he will have the same reward without decreasing the reward of the person fasting”.

13. Try harder the last ten nights especially the odd nights. The prophet would strive in Ramadan more than he would in any other month and more so in the last ten days.

14. Say this Dua in the nights that Laitul-Qadr is likely to fall on: Allhumma innaka afuwun tuhibbul-afwa fa’fu anni (O Allah you are Forgiving and love forgiveness so forgive me).

15. Ask Allah to accept all your good actions during this month.

Al Khawarizmi,seorang ahli Matematik Islam ditanya tentang wanita terbaik ; Apa dia jawab?Dia menjawab: Jika wanita solehah dan beragama = 1 Jika dia cantik; +0 kepada 1 =10.Jika dia kaya ; +lagi 0 = 100.Dan jika dia dr keluarga baik2 ; +lagi 0 = 1000.Tapi jika yg "1" tiada...maka tiada apa yg tersisa pd wanita tersebut kecuali sekelompok "0"

tahukah kamu, 

yang kucari kini bukanlah cinta duniawi,

yang kucari bukanlah jua si perawan tuk merebut hati ini,

yang ku cari adalah cinta Ilahi dan cinta Rasul,

masih jauh perjalanan ini tuk aq tempuhi,

masih banyak dugaan yang ingin aq sahut bg menguji iman ini,

percayalah, andai dirimu turut mencintai Allah dan Rasul,

pasti Allah akan bukakan hati ini untuk menerimamu..

biarkan aq menggunakan waktu 'single' aq mencari redha-Nya,

sesungguhnya kebahagian sejati itu hanya dengan iman (:

maafkn aq ya Allah.

ampunkan aq ya Allah,

yang mudah terpedaya dengan duniawi,

yang hatinya senang digoda syaitan,

yang nafsunya tiada batas,

yang akalnya kadang dipersiakan,

yang hidupnya sentiasa mengeluh,

jauhkan aq dari kelalaian,

tetapkan imanku dan teguhkan niatku.

aq tidak mau tersasar lagi ya Allah..

sungguh, hanya pada Engkau aq berserah,

tiada yang layak ke atas diriku selain diri-Mu,

Ketika Nabi SAW menakhluk Kota Mekah dan memasukinya bersama sepuluh ribu tentera. Para Sahabat yang lain mengenang kembali saat umat Islam diusir buang. Betapa ramai para sahabat 

yang sudah dicincang oleh kafir Quraisy. Betapa hina mereka difitnah dan dicaci sebelum ini. Lalu seorang sahabat bangun dan berkata. 

“Hari ini adalah hari pembunuhan balik ( balas dendam) terhadap musyrik 

yang memerangi mereka.” 

Namun jiwa yang teramat mencintai umatnya iaitu Muhammad SAW menolak dan berkata : 

“Bukan, sesungguhnya hari ini adalah hari kasih sayang”. 


Namun sejarah ini dilupakan oleh ramai penyambut Valentine.Seolah kita kehausan ikon cinta yang sebenar. kenapa tiada yg cuba mengingati tarikh kasih sayang Rasulullah kpd umatnya?

  kenapa aq tidak mengerti cintamu Ya Rasulullah?

We are fortunate we have eyes, yet there are 

blind people who see the path clearer. 

We are fortunate we have ears, yet there 

are deaf people who hear Allah’s call louder. 

We are lucky we have abled-limbs, yet there 

are disabled people who are quicker to stand 

in front Allah for salah (prayer) 

We are fortunate we have a tongue, yet there 

are the mute who make more zikr than us. 

Are we using or abusing our gifts?

are u poor?

One day, a rich father took his son on a trip. 
Wanted to show him how poor someone can be.
They spent time on the farm of a poor family. 
On the way home, father asked,


Did you see how poor they are? 

What did you learn?

The son said.. 
We have a pool, they have rivers. 
We have lanterns at night, they have stars. 
We buy food, they grow theirs. 
We have walls to protect us, they have friends.
We have encyclopaedias, they have the Quran. 
Then he added: 
Thanks Dad for showing me how poor we are.

LESSON: It’s not about money that makes us rich, 

it’s about simplicity n having ALLAH in our lives.

21 EXTRAORDINARY THINGS HAPPENING RIGHT 

NOW TO BE GRATEFUL FOR:

1. A baby is taking its first few steps without falling.

2. Somewhere, someone is admiring a breathtaking sunrise, 

and somewhere else, a surreal sunset.

3. Someone who suffered from a severe injury last year is back 

on their feet.

4. A small group of people are building something that will soon make 

the impossible possible.

5. Somewhere on Earth a double rainbow is stretched from one end of the 

horizon to the other.

6. Someone out there is missing you and looking forward to your next visit.

7. An elderly couple is celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

8. Two best friends are laughing so hard that they aren’t even making any noise.

9. A firefighter is running into a burning building to rescue a perfect stranger.

10. A new mom is lying in a hospital bed and holding her baby 

twins for the very first time.

11. There is someone out there who smiles when they think of a 

specific moment they once shared with you.

12. Volunteers in major cities all over the world are working at homeless 

shelters caring for those who are less fortunate than themselves.

13. A high school athlete just broke their own personal record.

14. Someone is hugging a friend who desperately needs it.

15. Someone just placed their spare change in the charity collection 

cup at the grocery store.

16. A small group of friends are sitting around a table sharing funny 

stories and cheerfully reminiscing about the good old days.

17. Honest people are working for various government entities to help 

protect your basic human rights and civil liberties.

18. An emergency room surgeon is in the middle of saving his patient’s life.

19. Someone is holding the door open for the person behind them.

20. Someone is kneeling in prayer at night, sincerely praying to 

Allah SWT  and asking for his own forgiveness, his families and the 

whole ummah, including you.

21. We are reminded that extraordinary things happen to ordinary 

people, and that there is beauty and wonder in everyday life.

filling the void.

Truely in the heart there is a VOID that cannot be removed 

except with the company of ALLAH …

And in it there is a SADNESS that cannot be removed 

except with the happiness of knowing ALLAH & being true to him …

And in it there is an EMPTINESS that cannot be filled 

except with love for ALLAH & by turning to him & always remembering him …

And if a person were given all of the world & everything within it, 

it would not fill this emptiness...
